- Check Your Vitamin Supplements: Avoid supplements that contain iodine in greater amounts of 150 mcg. While normal amounts of iodine haven't shown to worsen acne amounts greater then 150 mcg do.
- Avoid Over Washing Your Face: Limit washing your face to no more then 2-3 times a day. Anymore will dry out your skin and lead to increased oil production, clogging pores and creating more acne.
- Don't Pick: Picking and squeezing can force the bacteria further into the skin. Causing an infection.
